  We love the new theater at the Carlsbad mall. Fancy enough to be fun and comfortable, but not overpriced. The perfect place for a monthly dinner and movie date night.

  Much nicer than most Regal Cinemas I've watched movies at. There's plenty of parking, easy location to find, several enjoyable restaurants nearby if you'd like to have a bite before or after.
  
  My favorite part is the seating. You can choose ahead of time your seat location and they have several spots for wheelchair access. The seats are recliners, which was quite comfortable... especially as I am disabled.
  
  As for the staff, I encountered several and they were all very polite.
  
  The only drawbacks I saw during my visit was the crazy long, long lines at the concession counter which moved very slowly. My server seemed as if I were talking to a robot and annoyed by the couple of questions I had about their items. But when she went to get my order, she and another employee seemed to have acquired a happier personality until she returned with my order. Once I'd paid for my items, I felt rushed to leave. Unfortunately, I am disabled and can only carry my items in one hand and use my pockets for smaller items. She was young and maybe this is her first job; I can understand that. But maybe a different change of positions (i.e. ticket taker) may suit her personality better.
  
  Overall, I had a great experience with the one exception, which I will overlook because almost all other visits there were spot on.
